Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist opportunity in Mesa, Arizona

An excellent full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join an adult inpatient behavioral health program in Mesa, Arizona.

This position is based at a behavioral health center and focuses on the care of hospitalized, seriously mentally ill adults. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving high-acuity patients in a structured inpatient setting.

Practice Highlights

  • Adult inpatient psychiatry
  • Average caseload of 9–10 patients
  • Average length of stay: approximately 22 days
  • Majority involuntary patient population
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Academic & Teaching Opportunities

Active participation in resident and medical student education is an integral part of the position.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Arizona medical license (required prior to start date)
