Inpatient Physical Therapist – Casual/PRN
Join our inpatient rehab team as a casual Physical Therapist and become part of a collaborative, experienced team providing care across a diverse acute care environment. Our casual therapists play an important role in supporting our patients and team while enjoying the flexibility to work across a variety of clinical areas.
In this role, you will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe mobility, functional independence, and successful discharge planning. You will also have opportunities for clinical instruction, continuing education, professional development across specialty areas, and involvement in department initiatives.
Position Details
Casual/PRN position
Minimum scheduling commitment of two weekend shifts per month and one holiday weekend
Additional weekday shifts may be available based on department needs

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission of Accredited Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required. Strong team orientation required.
• Familiarity with items found in a typical PT (e.g., weights, exercise bikes, gait belts, ultrasound, traction, ambulatory devices, mats, etc.) required.
• Currently licensed as a physical therapist in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.
