Inpatient Adult or Adolescent Psychiatrist in Scottsdale, AZ

Are you a passionate Inpatient Psychiatrist seeking a fulfilling opportunity? Via Linda Behavioral Hospital, nestled in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ, is actively recruiting a full-time physician to join our dynamic team.

We are a 120-bed facility, providing comprehensive mental health services for adults and adolescents in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings. Specializing in treating a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and co-occurring addictions, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

**This position qualifies for education loan repayment up to $125,000 over four years via Arizona BHLRP program.**

Position Details

  • Full-Time Role: Choose between an Employed W-2 or Independent Contractor/1099 position.
  • Job Title: Adult or Adolescent Psychiatrist.
  • Setting: Primarily Inpatient; Outpatient program development opportunity available if interested.
  • Consistent Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift.
  • Minimal Call/Weekends: Once monthly weekend rounding and one evening call per week.
  • What You'll Do: Complete admissions, discharges, daily patient care follow ups, and treatment team leadership.
  • Caseload: Inpatient caseload average of 13-15 patients per day.

Qualifications

  • Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited and recognized institution.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible General Psychiatry required.
  • Licensure: Current Arizona medical license, in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Experience: Inpatient experience is preferred, but not required.
