HIRING POSITION: Innovation R&D Manager (Pet Food Product)

Responsibilities: 

• Lead research and development (R&D) projects for the technical aspects of new pet products from initial brief to final specifications, ensuring key deliverables are met within designated timelines.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to incorporate all front-end requirements into the project brief.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Supply Chain, and Operations departments to ensure technical specifications are feasible.
• Demonstrate autonomy and effectiveness in working with project teams, providing leadership, collaboration, coaching, and guidance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Food Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in pet food product development or R&D.
• Proficiency in various food R&D tools and systems, including Quality Management (GMP, HACCP, ISO22000, IFS, BRC), Document Control, Sensory Sciences, and Cost Management.
• Strong skills in project management, time management, flexibility, problem-solving, creativity, initiative, decision-making, analytical thinking, proactive work ethic, positive attitude, results-oriented mindset, logical thinking, interpersonal communication, collaboration, negotiation, presentation, and organization.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software programs.
