Job Description

  • Innovation plays a critical role in advancing the company’s growth agenda by shaping the innovation strategy and ensuring effective portfolio management. The team is responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, and maintaining a robust innovation pipeline that is aligned with the organization’s long-term strategic priorities.
  • The Innovation Manager serves as a pivotal role in governing and overseeing the end-to-end innovation pipeline, from idea generation through development and commercialization, while ensuring the portfolio remains balanced to deliver both financial performance and strategic impact.
  • The role also contributes to key portfolio and strategic workstreams, supporting the alignment of innovative initiatives with the organization’s long-term growth strategy and business objectives.

Responsibility

  • Govern the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring full compliance with the Heineken Way of Innovation. Provide both strategic and practical guidance to project teams, proactively monitor timelines, and ensure on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery against key launch milestones.
  • Act as the central facilitator and orchestrator across cross-functional teams, including Brand, R&D, Insights, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders, to ensure stage-gate deliverables are completed with strong alignment and effective decision-making in critical NPI forums.
  • Lead innovation and renovation (I&R) projects that require specialized expertise in innovation development, ensuring robust execution from concept to market launch.
  • Champion a culture of innovation across the organization, inspiring teams through learning initiatives, capability-building programs, and innovation platforms that stimulate idea generation from early concept development to commercialization.

Key Requirement

  • Strong understanding of Innovation & Renovation (I&R) development processes, with the ability to govern projects, especially in the front-end phases of development.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence project leads and senior stakeholders, driving alignment and consensus in critical decision-making forums.
  • Ability to independently navigate and drive complex, cross-functional collaboration, managing initiatives that require coordination across multiple internal stakeholders (local and global) as well as external partners.
  • Skilled facilitator of workshops and strategic discussions, capable of engaging stakeholders at different organizational levels, from leadership updates and ways-of-working alignment to innovation ideation sessions and project problem-solving discussions, ensuring efficient decision-making and clear outcomes.
  • Strong capability in leveraging market and consumer insights, translating research and data into actionable implications that inform innovation development and business decisions.
  • Active contributor to the innovation community, promoting a Learn–Share–Reapply culture across global and local teams by sharing best practices, case studies, and key learnings from internal and external Innovation & Renovation initiatives.
  • Strengthen organizational capability in innovation management, ensuring teams understand the NPI process, stage-gate requirements, and key deliverables, enabling stakeholders to effectively own and drive projects with high quality standards.
  • Partner with line manager to work on critical project of identify growth opportunities, contribute to innovation strategy development, and support portfolio management to drive sustainable business growth.

Experience

  • 3-5 years working experience in FMCG, especially experience Innovation/ Renovation development with significant skillset of project management
  • Use of OR having foundation understanding of translating Insight, White Space into Innovation Front End Development & Brand Management, Commercial proposition development.
  • Analytical thinking, strategic thinking, ability to ready between the lines, crafting insight and connecting dots for conceptualized finding
  • Good at storytelling, presentation & communication skill
  • Well communicated in English for both verbal & written
