Responsibilities
We are seeking a hands-on, solution-oriented Senior Business Analyst to lead a critical workstream. This is not a passive tracking role. The successful candidate will partner closely with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements, produce high-quality analysis artifacts, assess impacts, shape practical solutions, and drive disciplined execution through to implementation. The role requires someone who can think on their feet, simplify complexity, identify gaps and variances quickly, and communicate with credibility from delivery teams through executive and governance forums.
What youwill do
Partnerwith Product Managers, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, Data, Legal, and external solution providers to define scope, business outcomes, critical data requirements, and delivery priorities.
Own the development of BRDs, FSDs, impact assessments, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, control requirements, and decision logs.
Perform current-state and future-state analysis to identify control gaps, manual breaks, process inefficiencies, data issues, and downstream impacts, then recommend pragmatic options to resolve them.
Translate regulatory, policy, and operational requirements into clear functional requirements and implementation-ready analysis artifacts.
Coordinate delivery across multiple stakeholders and workstreams, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions. Challenge proposals constructively and support business cases, benefit tracking, and solution choices that are practical, scalable, compliant, and operationally workable.
Work closely with third-party compliance solution providers on requirements clarification, solution design, data mapping, testing, defect resolution, cutover readiness, and delivery accountability.
Support deployments involving workflow platforms, cloud solutions, automation, analytics, AI enabled solutions, and enterprise integrations, while producing concise governance updates, executive presentations, and implementation-readiness material through to BAU handover.
What success looks like
Requirements and impact-analysis artifacts are clear, decision-ready, and signed off without repeated rework.
Risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers are identified early and resolved with pace.
Senior stakeholders receive clear, credible updates and have confidence in the workstream status, options, and trade-offs.
Solutions go live with strong traceability, fit-for-purpose controls, and measurable improvement in compliance risk management, efficiency, or operating effectiveness.
These success measures align with the market emphasis on governance, risk control, and benefits realization rather than documentation for its own sake.
What you will bring
8–12 years of experience in business analysis, transformation, regulatory change, program delivery, or operations change within a large, matrixed organization.
Strong hands-on experience producing BRDs, FSDs, functional specifications, impact assessments, requirements traceability, process maps, and other core analysis artifacts.
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading compliance, risk, regulatory, client lifecycle, financial crime, or similarly controlled transformation programs.
Strong program discipline across scope, timelines, dependencies, governance, risk, and quality, with the judgment to escalate early and propose solutions.
A practical, execution-focused mindset: you do notstop atidentifying issues; you help solve them.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including comfort with data, process analysis, root-cause assessment, and control-focused thinking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to facilitate workshops, challenge constructively, and present clearly to senior stakeholders.
Comfort working in Agile, hybrid, and structured delivery environments, plus strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and delivery tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, Confluence, and related analytics or workflow tools.
Flexibility to worka late-evening overlap when required to collaborate with global technology teams in other time zones.
