Job Summary- We are seeking a highly skilled Payments GPP Test Analyst to join our Core Banking Transformation team. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end quality assurance for our global payment hub, blending strong automation capabilities with technical platform expertise and transactional banking domain knowledge.

Responsibilities:

40% Automation Testing Capability

• Framework Development: Build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites specifically tailored for enterprise payment hubs.
• Tooling Expertise: Program with Selenium, Java, or Python to automate UI and end-to-end regression workflows.
• API & Integration Testing: Conduct automated API validation using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI to verify message middleware integration.
• CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Seamlessly trigger automated test scripts within DevOps deployment infrastructure.

30% Payments Domain Knowledge

• Message Validation: Deep functional knowledge of ISO 20022 (MX) and SWIFT MT formatting rules.
• Clearing & Settlement: Validate complex end-to-end workflows across international networks including TARGET2, CHAPS, RTGS, Fedwire, and Instant/Real-Time Payments.
• Global Clearing Mechanics: Familiarity with high-value funds clearings (such as BOJ-NET / Zengin System) and APAC clearings (Singapore, Hong Kong) is highly preferred.
• Sanctions & Compliance: Validate data integrity mapping across controls protecting against financial crime and fraud.

30% GPP Platform Exposure

• Engine Familiarity: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience on Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP-SP, GPP Classic, or GPP Fusion).
• Rule Configuration Verification: Validate payment engine engine-routing, value-date determination, bank routing, fee configurations, and debit/credit chain mapping.
• Database Querying: Write advanced Oracle SQL queries to inspect back-end transaction states and validate the GPP database architecture.
• Log Diagnostics: Analyze technical system traces and application error logs to diagnose engine faults and identify core system defects.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Certifications: ISTQB, Agile Scrum, or specialized Finastra certifications (FCE/FCI) are a significant advantage.
• Methodology: Strong exposure working within Agile sprint teams using Jira for defect tracking.
