We’re currently looking for a talented Injury Management Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Perth, you'll work with some of our key customers across Western Australia and help shape lives.

As an Injury Management Specialist you will play a vital role in the success of the WorkFocus Australia Melbourne team by managing some of our largest customers. Drawing upon your extensive experience and strong profile within the industry, you will deliver services and implement Service Agreements with key customers requiring a specific focus as per business unit needs.

As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide return to work services to assist injured clients and their employers with safe and sustainable return to work outcomes
  • Maintain quality across customer as per SLA requirements in regard to return-to-work rates, costs and durations
  • Undertaking worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessments
  • Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
  • Implement services as per Customer SLAs
  • Provide high level rehabilitation services across a variety of portfolios including new employer and same employer goals
  • Complete internal and external customer critical case reviews to drive strategy and good rehab on all claims
  • Represent WorkFocus at public forums and on various committees as required

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Ability and willingness to travel (a current vehicle and drivers licence is required)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
