The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Injury Management Professional to join our Nominal Insurer Claims team. Reporting to the Healthcare Manager, you will play a key role in supporting your aligned team and the broader business, helping injured workers bring their lives back together following workplace accidents.

This is a hands‑on, influential role where your expertise will directly support recovery outcomes and strengthen best‑practice injury management across the team.

Your new role

  • Provide rehabilitation advice and recommendations in line with relevant legislation, guidelines and best‑practice frameworks

  • Implement and monitor treatment, rehabilitation and attendant care requirements to support sustainable recovery outcomes

  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of departmental rehabilitation services

  • Coach and mentor Claims staff, supporting sound decision‑making and promoting best‑practice injury management across the team

About you

  • Extensive experience within in a workers’ compensation or CTP claims role

  • Experience/qualifications in Allied Health, clinical, supervisory and/or workplace‑based rehabilitation settings

  • Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation and compliance obligations, with a core focus on legislative interpretation and work capacity decisions

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Case Manager coaching, decision‑making and technical claims management

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain effective professional networks.
