Necco has an opportunity for a career as an Initial Licensing Associate This role will provide the most value to the company by supporting all activities required to recruit and certify foster parents. The Initial Licensing Associate role will focus heavily on recruitment, data management, and organization.

Recruitment:

  • Collaborate with the team on carrying out the annual recruitment plan for the type of families the team needs to fill the referral demand
  • Mine existing and prospective parents for referrals
  • Establish the Necco brand as a leader in foster care by educating the community and related organizations at events
  • Build relationships with foster parents, local businesses, news media, churches, community organizations, and business leaders.
  • Use data to collaborate with staff, foster parents, and community-based influencers to develop and implement ongoing recruitment methods
  • Ensure the CRM reflects accurate and timely data regarding leads/opportunities and activities
  • Utilize CRM to manage follow-up communication with prospective foster parents using phone, email, text, face-to-face, and direct mail

Certification

  • Assist the Licensing Specialist with the organization and maintenance of documentation required to meet state specific licensing requirements (all aspects of training, document collection, etc.)
  • Assist the Licensing Specialist with all aspects of getting a home certified – training set up, scheduling appointments, etc.
  • Assist the Licensing Specialist with projecting home openings
  • Collaborate with Licensing Specialists to best serve the interest of prospects and foster parents
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of current state regulations relating to foster home certification
  • Prepare file for Licensing Specialist to write home study
  • Own the data entry process for all documents entered into the Electronic Health Record

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the human services field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage
  • Training and Travel willingness
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e., Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)
