Calling all go-getters: Rentokil Initial wants you as a Hygiene Technician for Dunedin!

Rentokil Initial is looking for a hands-on, self-motivated Hygiene Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be out in the field delivering hygiene and cleaning services, helping customers solve problems and keeping their sites running smoothly. We provide a work vehicle that supports your daily travel, even if you’re commuting from outside the district.

Key responsibilities:

• Load and unload the service vehicle effectively to complete daily assignments
• Perform cleaning services in washrooms and public toilets according to job specifications and client policies
• Provide and maintain hygiene products, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitisers, sanitary bins and air fresheners
• Address hygiene risks and client concerns to enhance work environments
• Complete service reports to document services performed
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times
• Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards

A successful candidate will have:

• Full-time, permanent work rights in NZ
• Full, clean driver’s licence and a clean criminal record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Physically fit with a strong focus on health and safety
• Self-motivated with great time management
• High attention to detail and pride in high standards
• Confident using mobile apps and technology
• Flexible to travel and stay away overnight if needed
• Cleaning or hygiene experience is a bonus

Candidates must hold permanent full working rights in New Zealand. Preferred applicants will undergo standard pre-employment checks, including medical assessments, reference checks, and criminal history verification, adhering to Rentokil Initial standards.
