What you'll do:
 
  • You are responsible for specifying, planning, implementing and executing manual and automated tests.
  • You analyze technical components, interfaces and data flows and derive a reliable basis for testing.
  • You develop and implement suitable test scenarios and test cases for different inputs, processing workflows, interfaces and error situations.
  • You verify processing results and ensure their functional correctness, completeness and quality.
  • You develop concepts, maintain test environments and optimize test strategies.
  • You test interactions with relational databases, create test data and verify the processed results.
  • You take responsibility for the further development and improvement of tools, processes and frameworks.
 
What you bring: 
  • You have completed a degree in computer science, business information systems or a comparable qualification (mandatory)
  • You have several years of experience in software testing or quality assurance for complex software projects.
  • You have extensive methodological and technical expertise in quality assurance and test automation.
  • You have experience testing backend or interface solutions and, ideally, microservice architectures.
  • You are proficient in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java and JavaScript.
  • You have experience in common test automation frameworks (at least 2 years of Playwright experience are mandatory)
  • You have basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • You have practical experience in planning and conducting load and performance tests.
  • You are familiar with agile methodologies and test management and bug-tracking tools.
  • Fluent English skills (B2 – C1)
  • An ISTQB® certification, experience with CI/CD pipelines and AI are nice to have
