We are looking for an Inhouse Technician to join us.

Siegwerk in Huntley, IL is looking for an Ink Technician to join our team! As an Ink Technician you will perform a broad range of technical tasks pertaining to daily ink room management and operation under the direction of the plant manager.

Your Tasks - What You can expect as Inhouse Technician?

• You assist customer with ink room operations.
• You coordinate job set up for presses.
• You formulate and blend inks as required.
• You maintain inventory control standards.
• You organize inks for press runs.
• You return inks from press to appropriate area.
• You perform press-side color matching.
• You operate color computer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Profile - What do You bring as Inhouse Technician?

• You have experience working with ink – UV, Water-based - preferred but not required.
• You have color matching ability and knowledge of inks and films preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communications skills, and demonstrated initiative in problem solving/troubleshooting required.
• You have knowledge of basic computer operating and a good working knowledge of IMS.
• You have ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• You accept the shift arrangement: 2nd Shift, 2pm-10pm; schedule will based on availability and need.
