Job Description

Summary Statement

In this role, you will ensure the stable operation and continuous improvement of our SAP production and planning systems. You will work closely with business units, key users and international stakeholders, analyze requirements, provide support for technical issues and drive the optimization of business processes. In addition, you will contribute your expertise to international projects, rollouts and system improvements and actively help shape the further development of our global application landscape.

This position can be filled remotely within Germany.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing the allocation of internal and external resources for projects and applications
  • Responsibility for the design, implementation and rollout of BPM solutions and approaches using industry-standard frameworks
  • Supporting the improvement of business processes, process reengineering and process design to achieve business objectives
  • Responsibility for the operation, administration and maintenance of IT applications
  • Assuming subproject leadership roles in larger projects and actively contributing to their successful implementation
  • Ensuring high-quality operational performance of the SAP PP, SAP topMES and Exos/BCOMM applications
  • Analyzing applications and processes, identifying risks, error scenarios and opportunities for optimization and subsequently developing appropriate improvement measures

Qualifications

  • A successfully completed degree or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in the SAP environment
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP PP and, ideally, experience with SAP MES
  • Understanding of system integrations, interfaces and cross-functional business processes
  • A structured, analytical and quality-oriented approach to work with strong organizational skills
  • High level of initiative, willingness to adapt to change and enjoyment of collaborating with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English, as well as the ability to present yourself confidently in an international setting
