Your Responsibilities

1. Manage and comprehensively monitor the operation, from the factory to the destination, ensuring compliance with the various established milestones and timelines.
2. Coordinate the documentation required for the operation, including the request, review, and approval of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading (BL), insurance policies, and other documents necessary for customs clearance.
3. Coordinate bookings and domestic and international transportation, tracking shipping lines, carriers, and shipments until delivery to the warehouse.
4. Manage the requirements and approvals necessary for the operation, including processes with INVIMA, ICA, and other entities as applicable.
5. Monitor and track operations through reports, control charts, and updates to key information such as ETD, ETA, B/L, and other data necessary to ensure traceability.

Your Profile

• Education: Technical Certificate or Associate’s Degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or Business Administration; if this requirement is not met, the candidate must have 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Training: Customs regulations, use of software for customs operations, office automation tools, and customer service.
• General Experience: 2 years of experience managing customs operations.
• Technical Skills: Provides timely and effective support for the client’s import and export operations; maintains control and monitors operations in a timely manner; communicates with suppliers regarding the procurement of documentation and information required for the operation.
