Rejoignez l'équipe Transport & Installation Engineering de GE Vernova Wind, en charge de la définition et de la fourniture de l'ensemble des solutions de transport et d'installation nécessaires aux projets éoliens de GE à travers le monde. L'équipe pilote l'intégralité du cycle de développement des outillages, depuis leur conception et leur fabrication jusqu'à leur mise à disposition sur les projets, en passant par les phases d'essais, de validation, de certification et de documentation. Elle est également responsable des processus d'assemblage final et d'installation des éoliennes sur site.

En tant qu'Ingénieur(e) Transport & Installation, vous contribuerez à la définition et au développement des équipements de manutention, de transport et de levage des principaux composants des éoliennes (tours, nacelles et pales). Votre périmètre d'intervention couvrira l'ensemble de la chaîne logistique, depuis la sortie d'usine des composants jusqu'à leur installation finale sur site. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de conception et de fabrication des turbines, ainsi qu'avec les équipes Transport et Installation, afin de garantir des solutions sûres, efficaces et adaptées aux exigences des projets.

Responsabilités essentielles

  • Définir avec l'équipe d'ingénierie l'interface de transport et de levage du composant
  • Spécifier les exigences de conception des différents outils nécessaires à la manutention, au transport et au levage du composant, en coordination avec les utilisateurs finaux
  • Participer aux demandes de devis, avec le soutien de l'équipe achats (sourcing). Soutenir la sélection des fournisseurs
  • Suivre la conception des outils, de la phase concept jusqu'à la conception détaillée
  • Suivre la fabrication, notamment pour lever les points techniques en suspens
  • Assister aux réunions de lancement, aux essais FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test) et à la réception finale, tout en animant les réunions de suivi et en assurant l'interface avec les organismes de certification
  • Accompagner les premières utilisations des outils, recueillir les retours d'expérience et programmer les améliorations continues des outils
  • Soutenir et rendre compte à l'ingénieur responsable des outils dans la définition de nouveaux outils basés sur de nouvelles méthodologies discutées lors d'ateliers avec d'autres parties prenantes de l'activité éolienne
  • Soutenir l'ingénieur méthodes T&I ainsi que les équipes projet pour l'élaboration de modes opératoires détaillés. Participer aux opérations et recueillir les retours. Proposer des améliorations.

Qualifications/Prérequis

  • Master ou équivalent en mécanique

Conditions d'éligibilité

  • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire
  • Expérience en levage lourd (heavy lift), de préférence dans le secteur de l'éolien
  • Expérience en systèmes de transport et logistique de composants lourds
  • Bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Office
  • Anglais courant, à l'oral comme à l'écrit

Caractéristiques souhaitées

  • Expérience en outillages industriels pour l'assemblage de composants de grande taille
  • Expérience en structures mécaniques et/ou outils électriques/automatismes/hydrauliques
  • Connaissance des normes offshore pour le transport maritime et les opérations en mer
  • Connaissance des normes DNV et UE pour la spécification des outils
  • Organisé(e) et transparent(e)
  • Bonnes compétences en communication, grande flexibilité
  • Capacité à travailler au sein d'une équipe multiculturelle et multidisciplinaire
  • Disponible pour se déplacer sur les sites de fabrication

Transport & Installation Engineer M/D

To be part of the Transport & Installation engineering team of GE Vernova Wind. The team is responsible for the supply of all the transport and installation tools for GE Wind projects around the world. The team is leading and supervising the design, manufacturing, supply of the tools, Test & Validation and the final assembly process of the Wind Turbines, including all documentation, certification and installation procedures related.

The engineer will work on the definition of the tools for the handling, transport and lifting of the turbine component (tower, nacelle, blade) along the entire lifecycle from end of manufacturing line at production facilities and until the component is installed. He/she will work in close relationship with the turbine design and manufacturing teams, transport team and installation team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Define with Engineering team the interface for transport and lifting of the component
  • Specify the requirements for the design of the different tools required for the handling, transport and lifting of the component, in coordination with the final users
  • Participate to the request for quotations, with support from sourcing team. Support the selection of supplier
  • Follow the design of the tools, from concept to detail design
  • Follow the manufacturing, in particular to clear technical queries
  • Attend kick-off meetings, FAT, SAT and final reception as well as leading follow-up meetings and interface with certification bodies
  • Support 1st uses of the tools, collect feedbacks and program continuous improvements of the tools
  • Support and report to the tool lead engineer in the definition of new tools based on new methodologies discussed during workshops with other Wind Business stakeholders
  • Support the T&I method engineer as well the project teams to issue detailed method statements for operations. Participate to operations and collect feedback. Propose improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in mechanical

Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Experienced in heavy lift preferably in the Wind sector
  • Experienced in transport systems and logistic of heavy components
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written

Desired Characteristics

  • Experienced in industrial tools for assembly of large components
  • Experience in mechanical structure and/or electrical/automatism/hydraulic tools
  • Offshore standards for sea transport and marine operations
  • DNV and EU standards for tool specifications
  • Organised and transparent
  • Good communication skills, high flexibility
  • Able to work within a multicultural/multidiscipline team
  • Available to travel to fabrication site
