
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Test the applications, Databases, IHM, SCADA, UTRs, control booths, systems. Integrated, protection schemes such as Feeders, Transformers, Medium Voltage Lines, Control-Restorer 651R and Testing of loose equipment (protection relays and meters) to meet the requirements of our customers. Complying with delivery times and within the agreed budget.
2. Perform operational and functional tests to PCyM boards, SICLES, SISCOPROM, UTR and control booths that involve integrated systems to deliver products of the highest quality and complying with international standards.
3. Use platforms of operating systems, communication protocols, SCADA system software and IHM applications used in Integrated Systems and Control Booths, to perform and develop integrated product tests.
4. Verify, correct and modify databases, IHM, communications equipment settings, protection relays and other DEIs used in Integrated Systems and Control Booths to comply with the functionality required by the client.
5. Validate Engineering, databases, adjustments, IHM applications and lists of variables to be monitored in integrated systems and, where appropriate, make the corresponding modifications, to ensure the correct performance of functional tests on boards, integrated systems and control booths.
6. Define standards of finished product for inspection during the process of functional tests, for approval and / or rejection of boards, integrated systems and control booths before boarding them.
7. Support on-site tests of integrated systems or functional control booths with primary equipment and with the control sub-areas (CENACE), and on-site design of IHM applications and engineering databases.
8. Administrative issues in the improvement of factory, automation testing procedures to ensure the correct operation of systems and / or control booths on site to increase the effectiveness of the tests.
9. Audit Finished products based on quality standards for compliance of product quality requirements before release.
10. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

12. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Electrical engineering or electronics or related.
From nine to eleven years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer.
Two to five years of experience as a Test Engineer in SR Automation Services.
From nine to eleven years of experience in functional testing of Control and Protection Systems.
From nine to eleven years of experience in Factory Acceptance Tests.
Two to five years of experience as LEADER of Automation Testing Engineering.
Proficiency in the English language, 70%
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge in automation and systems integration for supervision of power electrical systems.
Experience in Design, Operation, Maintenance and Testing of Integrated Systems of Electrical Substations.
Advanced knowledge and experience in IEC communications protocols.
Knowledge of maintenance and configuration of computer equipment.
Experience in FAT tests and tests with clients (CFE, LAPEM, etc.).
Take common sense and skills to execute and make decisions
Leadership skills are required to lead people and projects in a technical manner.
Knowledge in networks
Knowledge in platforms of IHM, Survalent, Subnet.
Ability to perform protective tests on schemes such as feeders, capacitor banks and transformers.
Experience in integration of equipment from different brands (SEL, ABB, Siemens, GE, etc.).
Give training courses on control issues and automation in integrated systems
Ability to carry out protection tests on Transmission Lines schemes.
Ability to program IHM applications and databases
Design of UTR diagrams and communications sections
