The Role
The Process Engineer is responsible for monitoring and improving production processes to drive standardization, efficiency, and operational stability. This role contributes directly to achieving production and quality objectives through continuous process improvement, technical support, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)
Process Monitoring & Improvement
- Monitor and control production processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, maintain, and update process specifications, process flow diagrams, annexes, and PFMEA (AMEF).
- Follow up on the implementation of Maintenance Memos.
- Propose and support continuous improvement projects to ensure process continuity and stability.
New Equipment & Process Changes
- Support the release and validation of new tooling and equipment.
- Participate in design and process changes, including training and documentation updates.
- Support engineering changes to ensure safe and effective implementation.
Training & Certification
- Train newly hired supervisors on production processes.
- Act as a certifier for the multiskill model for High Performance Teams, ensuring operator competency in processes.
- Develop, review, and update theoretical and practical exams, manuals, and training materials required for process certification.
Quality & Problem Solving
- Participate in problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys.
- Conduct layered process audits to ensure compliance and process quality.
- Ensure proper application of Core Tools and Six Sigma methodologies.
Safety, Health & Environment
- Ensure knowledge and compliance with ISO 14001 requirements applicable to the role.
- Participate in occupational health and safety incident investigations when required.
- Report and, if necessary, stop activities that pose risks to employee safety, facilities, or the environment

What You Bring (Qualifications)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Industrial Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Automation Engineering
Experience
- Experience in Process Engineering or Quality Assurance.
- Exposure to production environments, electrical installations, instrumentation, and control.
Technical Knowledge
- PFMEA (AMEF) and process flow diagrams
- Battery manufacturing processes
- Six Sigma methodology
- Core Tools overview
- PowerD3 (Clarios)
- Problem-solving techniques
- Technical specifications (ISO / IATF 16949)
- Training and instructor development
