Job Description

Your Contribution:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing manufacturing equipment, leading engineering projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that support plant operations and production requirements.

• Design and development of layouts for manufacturing processes and production areas.
• Design of mechanical systems, industrial machinery, and material handling/transportation systems based on operational requirements.
• Development and management of machinery projects from concept through fabrication, integration, and final delivery.
• Coordination of multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and design personnel.
• Interpretation of customer and operational requirements to develop effective engineering solutions.
• Monitoring project scope, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through equipment upgrades, automation, and process optimization.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in industrial design, including the development of mechanical assemblies, tooling, and industrial equipment.
• 3+ years of experience applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and material selection in engineering projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for design, modeling, and technical documentation.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems applied to industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Experience interpreting mechanical diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience operating and programming CNC machinery, as well as supporting machining and manufacturing processes.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
