The Infusion Center Coordinator is primarily responsible and accountable for planning and organizing the Scheduling process for Outpatient Infusion. Collaborates with the Outpatient Infusion Supervisor to plan, organize, and implement staff development programs including in-service/continuing education and performance improvement activities. Works independently with delegated authority and responsibility from Outpatient Infusion Supervisor and Director of Oncology Services. Collaborates with Infusion Supervisor and Director of Oncology Services in the development and review of Quality Improvement Data in the Outpatient Infusion Department. Works collaboratively with Physicians and Infusion Co-workers to promote proactive, effective, interactive shared governance relationship in the coordination of specialty services.
