Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the primary responsibility for the successful candidate will be administering the Region’s grant programs, consistent with provincial guidelines and policies. This will include, but is not limited to, the Alberta Municipal Water/Wastewater Partnership (AMWWP), Water for Life Program (W4L), and the Strategic Transportation Infrastructure Program (STIP). This includes liaising on a regular basis with municipalities and other stakeholders, both related to the various grant programs and in helping to answer general inquiries and connecting them to other functional areas within the Region.

In addition to the primary responsibility of grants administration, this role may also support a variety of other service areas within the Infrastructure Section including assisting with the delivery of program development and project scoping, development permit reviews, and supporting various planning assignments.

This role is a permanent, full-time position, with the standard work hours as 36.25 per week, Monday to Friday.
Location: Red Deer
Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo pre-employment checks.
A Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a clear Driver’s abstract will be required as part of pre employment checks.
