The Opportunity

Bengalla is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dedicated Infrastructure Team. This role requires a reliable team player who can also work independently on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

As a key member of the Infrastructure Team, you will help ensure the reliability and safety of fixed plant and infrastructure across the mine site, including administration areas, workshops, and field environments. This position works a 12-hour day shift, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on site infrastructure
• Inspect, service, and repair assets such as light vehicles, pumps, lighting sets, HV reticulation systems, access roads, and MIA infrastructure
• Deliver high-quality work with a focus on safety and equipment reliability
• Adhere to Bengalla’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times

Qualifications and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Electrotechnology trade qualification
• High Voltage Switching accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) skills
• High attention to detail and work quality
• A proactive and accountable approach to tasks
• Ability to work across a diverse range of equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to perform tasks beyond core trade scope
• Sound computer literacy
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and environmental compliance
