About the role
As part of the continued growth and transformation of our European IT organization, AKIEM is looking for an Infrastructure & Support Manager to lead and coordinate IT infrastructure operations and end-user support activities across several European countries.
Reporting directly to the Group IT Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of IT services supporting our business operations. You will oversee infrastructure and support activities, coordinate distributed teams and external service providers, and help establish consistent ways of working across the organization.
This position combines operational leadership, team management and service delivery oversight in a dynamic international environment. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will actively contribute to the standardization and maturity of IT practices, helping to strengthen governance, optimize support processes and enhance the overall user experience across Europe.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence with a pragmatic approach, while building strong collaboration between local teams, central IT functions and key business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate infrastructure and IT support teams across multiple European locations.
Ensure the availability, reliability and performance of core IT services and workplace environments.
Oversee daily support operations, including incident management, escalations and service follow-up.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and user satisfaction.
Harmonize and formalize operational processes, roles and support practices across countries.
Coordinate external service providers and monitor operational performance against expectations.
Support infrastructure deployment and operational projects in collaboration with local and central teams.
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with company standards, governance requirements and security best practices.
Contribute to the ongoing development and maturity of AKIEM's European IT operations model.
Profile
8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations or IT Support.
Previous experience managing technical or operational IT teams.
Strong exposure to international and multi-site environments.
Experience with service delivery, incident management and vendor coordination.
Knowledge of Microsoft environments, ITIL practices and infrastructure governance is a plus.
Fluent English and French.
