We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist to support and evolve our IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) platform running on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).

This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of a modern enterprise automation platform that underpins key business processes across the organization. You will work closely with platform engineers, application teams, and cloud providers to deliver a stable and high-performing environment.

What You Will Do

Platform Operations & Support

• Maintain and support CP4BA platform components including FileNet, Workflow (BAW), Decision Services (ODM), and supporting operators

• Monitor platform health and respond to incidents, ensuring high availability across Dev, UAT, and Production

• Troubleshoot issues related to containerized workloads, pod failures, and platform performance

OpenShift & Cloud Infrastructure

• Administer and support OpenShift clusters on AWS (ROSA), including namespaces, compute resources, and networking

• Coordinate cluster patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities

• Optimize platform performance and resource utilization

Platform Engineering & Deployment

• Deploy and configure CP4BA environments using Kubernetes operators and automation tools

• Support new environment builds, enhancements, and platform scaling initiatives

• Manage platform configurations such as certificates, secrets, and service endpoints

Storage, Backup & Resilience

• Manage persistent storage and integrations with S3-compatible and enterprise storage solutions

• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies

• Support data protection for databases and content repositories

Monitoring & Observability

• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms

• Collaborate with operations teams to improve observability and proactive issue detection

• Analyze logs and metrics to identify trends and prevent incidents

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain secure access controls and identity integration

• Manage secrets and sensitive configurations using enterprise tools

• Partner with security teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance

Automation & CI/CD Enablement

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for CP4BA deployments

• Support automation of infrastructure provisioning and platform operations

• Drive standardization and repeatability across environments

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with application teams, architects, and cloud platform teams

• Collaborate with vendors (e.g., IBM, Red Hat) to resolve technical issues

• Participate in change management processes and platform governance

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift (ROSA or cloud-hosted OpenShift preferred)

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)

• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and platform layers

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment

• Experience with IBM CP4BA, FileNet, or similar enterprise workflow/content platforms

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab pipelines)

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, OpenTelemetry)

• Experience with secrets management and identity integration

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

The base salary for this position is between $66,700 - $116,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
