Infrastructure Senior Engineer in Cairo, Egypt

• Lead the design and optimization of rail infrastructure systems ensuring scalability and long-term performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate civil, electrical, and signaling systems seamlessly.
• Ensure reliability and compliance of infrastructure through rigorous testing, validation, and maintenance planning.
• Drive innovation by implementing digital tools such as BIM and predictive maintenance analytics.
• Promote knowledge sharing and technical mentoring across project teams to strengthen engineering excellence.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or asset management of power, electrical, electromechanical, or transportation systems.
• Experience with high-voltage and medium-voltage power systems, electrical distribution networks, or railway infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, fault diagnostics, and maintenance management practices.
• Knowledge of electrical protection systems, switchgear, transformers, SCADA, power distribution, or rail switch mechanisms.
• Railway experience is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic operational environment and support emergency maintenance activities when required.
• On-time delivery of infrastructure design packages aligned with project milestones.
• Effective collaboration and communication across engineering and construction teams.
• Reduction in design errors and improved operational efficiency through proactive problem-solving.
• Work with advanced digital engineering tools driving the future of rail infrastructure.
• Contribute to global mobility projects with tangible local impact in Egypt.
