Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic platform migration initiatives within a large-scale financial services environment. This role requires strong end-to-end delivery expertise across infrastructure, data, and network migrations, ensuring alignment with governance, risk, and change management standards. The position demands a delivery-focused professional capable of managing complex technical programmes while engaging effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and platform migration projects from initiation through transition and handover.
• Plan and manage platform, data, and network migration activities to minimize disruption to live services.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, RAID logs, and dependency tracking.
• Ensure compliance with change control, risk management, and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, network, security, application, and third-party vendors.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to provide clear updates on progress, risks, and delivery outcomes.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-relevant communication.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
• Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope, quality standards, budget, and timelines.
• Drive alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across delivery practices.
• Contribute to broader transformation programmes within the technology function.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager within banking or financial services environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering platform migration projects including infrastructure, data, or network migrations.
• Strong understanding of change control, governance, and risk management processes within regulated environments.
• Experience managing complex technical change across enterprise-scale technology landscapes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience working with cloud or hybrid cloud environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with containerization or virtualization technologies such as OpenShift is desirable.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile methodologies are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and delivery-focused mindset.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
