Job Description

At ENGIE, we believe the energy transition needs people who combine technical excellence with a sense of purpose. As part of Global Business Support (GBS), you will help power the operations that keep our mission moving forward — delivering efficient, secure, and future-ready infrastructure for one of the world's leading energy companies.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Manager to join our NOC Front Office team. In this role, you will ensure service continuity, drive vendor performance, and lead infrastructure initiatives that directly support ENGIE's net zero ambition. Your work will have real impact — keeping critical systems running and evolving every day.

What You'll Do

- Lead infrastructure and cybersecurity projects from planning to delivery, coordinating technical teams using Agile (Kanban) methodologies.
- Manage change and integration processes, including CAB presentations and out-of-hours deployments, to minimize operational disruption.
- Oversee ISP service management, including supplier governance, SLA/KPI tracking, incident reviews, and contract follow-ups.
- Direct infrastructure lifecycle activities such as maintenance, equipment tracking, and CMDB data integrity in ServiceNow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization.
- Resolve telecom incidents, manage provisioning and logistics, and support client governance via KPI reporting and escalation handling.
- Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, back-office teams, security officers, and external partners to ensure technical alignment.

What You Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in network and security operations within a complex infrastructure environment.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, cloud solutions, and enterprise networks.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow, Jira, and similar collaboration and tracking tools.
- Technical project management expertise, particularly in deployment and change management.
- Strong skills in managing partner relationships and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- High level of organization and attention to detail for performance tracking and issue resolution.

Location

Bucharest, Romania — Hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office). Occasional travel may be required. Rotating shifts with availability for extended hours during critical events and planned maintenance operations outside business hours.

What We Offer

- A competitive salary package with clear career progression opportunities within ENGIE's global network.
- Private health insurance for you and your family.
- Meal tickets and annual extended holiday entitlement based on length of employment.
- A diverse range of missions across infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor management — keeping your work stimulating and varied.
- A friendly, collaborative work environment where your ideas drive real improvement.
- Flexibility and work-life balance through our hybrid model and supportive team culture.
- Ongoing personal and professional development programs to grow your expertise.
