Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented InfrastructureInspector – Saudi National to join our team! In this role you will get to perform field inspections and construction monitoring activities to verify that works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, contract specifications, quality requirements, safety standards, and applicable project procedures. You will support construction delivery through daily inspections, accurate reporting, quantity verification, materials compliance, and coordination with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct field inspections to verify construction activities are performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
  • Inspect civil, infrastructure, transportation, building, and associated construction works as assigned.
  • Monitor demolition and construction activities associated with roads, streets, bridges, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and related infrastructure.
  • Inspect drainage works, stormwater systems, traffic control measures, and compliance with applicable Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) requirements.
  • Inspect installation of traffic signals, ramp metering systems, street lighting, and associated electrical equipment.
  • Monitor roadway signage, overhead signs, temporary and permanent signs, and delineation installations.
  • Inspect landscaping, irrigation, planting, mechanical equipment, buildings, facilities, and associated site development works as applicable.
  • Verify construction activities against approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Verify that only approved materials and equipment are incorporated into the permanent works.
  • Review and maintain Certificates of Compliance, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), inspection tags, material approvals, and supporting documentation.
  • Capture and organize daily project photographs to maintain an accurate record of construction progress.
  • Maintain site records, quantity calculations, inspection documentation, and daily site diaries.
  • Prepare daily inspection reports, progress reports, and other documentation required by the project.
  • Measure and verify installed quantities to support progress payment applications and change order evaluations.
  • Review progress payment estimates and additional work quantities within the assigned scope.
  • Maintain and review as-built information and support verification of completed works.
  • Identify potential construction conflicts, defects, nonconformances, and technical issues and promptly advise the appropriate supervisor.
  • Document nonconforming work and support the evaluation and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate surveying, material testing, and inspection activities performed by specialist subconsultants.
  • Support the development and implementation of project quality control procedures, inspection processes, and reports.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of safe working practices and site safety requirements.
  • Identify hazardous working conditions and take appropriate action in accordance with project procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of public safety requirements while performing field inspections.
  • Participate in site meetings, coordination meetings, inspections, and construction progress reviews as required.
  • Support emergency site call-backs and inspections when required.
  • Conduct or support welder qualification testing when applicable to the assigned scope.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors when required.
  • Coordinate effectively with Construction Management, Resident Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Perform inspections safely, including activities requiring access to elevated areas, ladders, and confined spaces where appropriately trained and authorized.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Associate Degree in a technical, engineering, or construction-related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of related construction inspection or field project experience
  • Experience inspecting infrastructure, transportation, civil, building, or public works construction activities.
  • Knowledge of public works contracts and construction-related processes.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, technical specifications, contract requirements, method statements, and inspection documentation.
  • Experience verifying construction workmanship and materials against approved project requirements.
  • Knowledge of construction inspection, quality control, and nonconformance processes.
  • Ability to perform quantity calculations and understand engineering calculations, graphs, and charts.
  • Experience maintaining accurate daily diaries, inspection records, photographs, and progress reports.
  • Ability to review installed quantities, progress payment estimates, and additional work quantities.
  • Understanding of construction scheduling and the relationship between inspection activities and project progress.
  • Ability to identify construction issues, conflicts, and nonconforming work and support appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ability to recognize hazardous working conditions and respond in accordance with project safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management/documentation software.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively within established project procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and dynamic construction environments.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and support to junior inspection personnel.
  • Ability to perform field-based duties, including accessing elevated areas and confined spaces where appropriately trained.
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with construction inspection activities.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience working on major highway, road, bridge, transportation, infrastructure, or public works projects.
  • Experience inspecting drainage, utilities, traffic systems, street lighting, structures, buildings, or associated infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with contractor payment verification, quantity measurement, and change order work.
  • Knowledge of material inspection, testing requirements, and construction quality assurance practices.
  • Experience coordinating with surveying and material testing teams.
  • Familiarity with as-built documentation, construction closeout, and handover requirements.
  • Construction safety training, including OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety training or equivalent.
  • Certification in Highway Construction, Highway Design, Highway Surveys, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Relevant construction inspection, materials testing, or quality certifications are preferred.
  • Experience working within PMC, Construction Management, Delivery Partner, or client-side project environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate, traceable, and audit-ready construction records.
  • Strong mentoring and technical guidance capabilities.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, public protection, and continuous improvement.
