Part of a larger team delivering high quality Computer, Network, Storage and End-User Infrastructure technology solutions, on-going support to the business. Independently completes and leads infrastructure project assignments. Plan, Summary

This role operates as part of a cross-functional team supporting enterprise-grade platform technology solutions across compute, network, storage, and end-user infrastructure domains. The position is responsible for delivering operational excellence, and exceptional end user experience through support of enterprise platforms.

Contributions include maintaining consistent alignment with application owners, providing advanced technical analysis, performing troubleshooting, and identifying/recommending opportunities for process or technological improvements. The role ensures the reliability and performance of infrastructure through proactive monitoring, configuration management, patching, tuning, and upgrades.

Collaboration is essential, with close engagement across project teams comprised of engineers, developers, and business owners and to deliver consistent, standards-aligned solutions that meet organizational requirements and best practices.

What you’ll do:

Core Responsibilities

  • Key contributor during complex infrastructure projects across multiple environments
  • Perform advanced analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Support and ensure compliance with change, incident, and problem management processes
  • Develop and peer review/approve technical documentation, including procedures, standards, and implementation guides
  • Provide operational considerations and recommendations during project initiation and execution
  • Coordinate and guide team activities, including mentoring and task leadership
  • Drive process refinements, automation maturity, monitoring, and observability improvements to maintain alignment with best practices
  • Support and prioritize vulnerability management and patching initiatives
  • Collaborate with technology teams and business stakeholders to enhance operational readiness
  • Ensure operational adherence to cloud governance and support models

Required Technical Experience:

  • Web and Application Server platforms
  • JVM administration, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Message queuing technologies (e.g., IBM MQ or equivalents)
  • PKI and machine identity management
  • Container platforms (OpenShift, EKS, ROSA)
  • Server load balancing (F5 or equivalents)
  • Observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk

What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience:

  • 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Other Must Haves:

  • Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, fiscal awareness, and commitment to exceptional customer service and support
  • Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure environments and components

Compensation Range:

$98,993.00 - $128,688.00
