A snapshot of your responsibilities:

You will be working with a team that manages IT infrastructure across multiple data centers. You will be responsible to build, deliver, maintain, and troubleshoot systems remotely.

Requirements:

Experience: Several years of experience managing IT infrastructure and Windows Server environment. Solid knowledge of troubleshooting, networking, Virtualization. Hands-on with VMware, Hyper-V, SQL, Backups.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills.

Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently.

Must possess above-average organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Considered an out-of-the-box thinker and displays a willingness to learn.

Able to deal with customers and fellow employees in a way that will promote the goals and objectives of the Company.

Essential Functions:

Assists in planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include servers, network equipment, and software applications.

Patching windows/Linux server infrastructure.

Deploying software packages to multiple servers.

Assist in auditing IT infrastructure.

Create and maintain good technical documentation.

Configuration of Virtual Servers and High Availability applications.

Monitor system health across multiple sites.

Troubleshoot issues and work on RCA within SLA.

Work with vendors and clients for software/infrastructure maintenance or troubleshooting.

Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for infrastructure maintenance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintains excellent communications with internal and external stakeholders on all tasks and projects.

Skills Needed:

Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server.

Solid knowledge and hands-on with VMware, Hyper-V.

Ability to perform configuration of virtual servers at a scale.

Exceptional troubleshooting skills.

Understanding of High Availability and Business Continuity.

Working knowledge of Networking (LAN/WAN/Firewalls/Routers)

Significant understanding of various software vulnerabilities and remediation procedures.

Solid knowledge and hands-on experience on windows server patching, OS installs/upgrades, Service Packs.

Understanding or Functional knowledge on working with endpoint security applications such as Crowdstrike, Symantec.

Experience with Log Analysis (debugging, finding the problems).

PowerShell/Python/batch Scripting.

Experience with Jira or a similar ticketing system.

Ideal Past Employer/Education/Certifications:

4+ Years’ experience in managing IT Infrastructure and windows server environments.

Technical degree or equivalent experience

Good to have certifications: VMware, MCITP, Cloud Certifications.
