THE WORK:

  • You’ll develop and execute global procurement and category strategies for electrical, mechanical, modular infrastructure, and long-lead equipment.
  • You’ll lead strategic sourcing, RFPs, competitive bidding, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
  • You’ll manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure capacity, quality, cost competitiveness, and on-time delivery.
  • You’ll negotiate and manage commercial agreements, pricing structures, supplier terms, and long-term contracts.
  • You’ll evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturing capacity, proposals, quality performance, and delivery reliability.
  • You’ll partner with Engineering, Construction, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams to support program execution.
  • You’ll develop capacity-planning strategies and secure supply for critical and long-lead equipment.
  • You’ll identify and mitigate supply-chain risks, supplier constraints, and delivery or quality issues.
  • You’ll monitor supplier and contract performance while leading escalations and corrective actions when needed.
  • You’ll drive cost optimization, continuous improvement, and strategic procurement recommendations for key stakeholders.
  • Flexible The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
  • 5–8+ years of experience leading strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier selection activities.
  • 5–10 years of experience in commercial negotiations, contracting, pricing agreements, and supplier terms.
  • Strong experience managing strategic suppliers, capacity planning, supplier performance, and supply-chain risk.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience procuring or managing suppliers of long-lead equipment.
  • Experience with master agreements, long-term agreements, and supplier allocation models.
  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, modular construction, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing global supplier networks and complex technical sourcing programs.
