Deutsche Telekom IT operates a total of 10 applications/system networks for the processing of business transactions relating to wholesale access products in its Wholesale domain. These are mainly cloud-based architectures, but also classic monolithic systems whose transition to the cloud is still imminent.
To support the various teams of the Wholesale domain, we are looking for an infrastructure architect.
Tasks:
- Planning, implementation and monitoring of cloud-based and non-cloud-based system infrastructures.
- Design and implementation of
- appropriate scaling methods (vertical, horizontal) to adapt to ever-changing business needs.
- system connections to Deutsche Telekom's internal and external communication infrastructures;
- measures to meet requirements regarding security / data protection / secrecy; to increase system stability.
- Sustainable documentation of all architectural decisions
- Maintenance and publication of up-to-date infrastructure overviews of the systems involved
- Co-organization of the CoP ARC (Community of Practice Architecture)
- Participation in the weekly architecture working group
- Supporting the operations team with
- quarterly PI planning
- the analysis and definition of requirements
- participation in CoP DevOps
- coordination with the CI/CD team
Desired Experience/Skills:
- at least 5 years of experience in the planning and implementation of cloud infrastructures
- analysis of complex problems and finding creative solutions
- clear and concise communication of complex technical contexts to the teams involved
