Reporting directly to the Director of Technology and Cybersecurity, the Infrastructure & Cloud Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for Singing River Health System’s enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, network services, data center technologies, and related technical operations.
This position is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and resilience of the technology platforms supporting clinical, administrative, and business operations across the health system. The Manager leads infrastructure technical teams, establishes operational standards, oversees major technology initiatives, manages system lifecycle and capacity planning, and ensures that infrastructure services align with organizational priorities and healthcare requirements.
The Infrastructure & Cloud Manager works closely with application, cybersecurity, clinical, operational, and business teams to implement reliable and supportable technology solutions. This position plays a critical role in disaster recovery, business continuity, infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and technical incident response.

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field required. Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.

Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, VMWare, Cisco, Palo Alto, ITIL certifications, or other related credentials are highly preferred but not required.
Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days); must have appropriate level of de-escalation training.
Director of Technology and Cybersecurity System / Cloud Administrators, Network Administrators
Work is primarily sedentary and involves sitting, with occasional requirements to move throughout the office or facility and travel to other facilities within the Singing River Health System service area.
Work requires occasionally exerting a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Work involves using repetitive motions: including substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and or fingers while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse.
The position requires the ability to perceive sound at normal speaking levels, with or without correction, and to make fine distinctions in sound. Work also requires close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus between computer monitors, printed materials, and other objects.
Must be able to remain active for extended periods without experiencing undue fatigue. Must be able to work flexible hours when required for system maintenance, project implementations, incident response, outages, or critical deadlines.
Must possess the mental capacity to manage complex technical information, personnel matters, competing priorities, operational risks, and critical incidents.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities are essential.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to receive, interpret, and communicate information in person, by telephone, through electronic communication, and in written form.
Must demonstrate the emotional stability necessary to work effectively during moderate- to high-stress situations involving critical systems, service interruptions, personnel matters, and demanding timelines.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, leaders, physicians, clinical personnel, technical teams, vendors, and other healthcare workers.
Must possess superior leadership and interpersonal skills.
Must possess proficient knowledge and ability to use a computer (must be keyboard proficient) and other office technology (i.e., telephone, fax, etc.), MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and relevant IT service management and security software/tools.
Must have a strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST 2.0, ISO 27001).
Must be able to participate in after-hours maintenance, incident response, disaster recovery activities, and leadership escalation when necessary.
Must maintain the confidentiality of patient, employee, operational, and organizational information.
