Meniga builds financial intelligence for the world's leading banks - 100M+ users, 30+ countries. We're not the brand on the app. We're the layer underneath it - the one that makes the data meaningful, the experience personal, and the bank worth opening. Meniga's offices are in London, Reykjavik, Warsaw and Cairo.

THE WORK

We're scaling our technology organisation to match a growing business and a full commitment to AI. This role sits at the intersection of two things that increasingly can't be separated: making AI real for the parts of the business that aren't technical, and keeping the infrastructure underneath the whole company - devices, access, security - solid enough to build on.
You lead a small team and report to the CTO. You own both ends of the mandate: AI adoption outside engineering, and the IT backbone that keeps the company running.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the team building and rolling out AI services for non-technical teams like HR and Legal - tools people actually use daily, not pilots that quietly die
• Own IT infrastructure for the company - devices, access management, the systems that keep employees productive and secure
• Manage and grow a small team - hire for it, set the bar, make the calls
• Support security processes and certification efforts - be the person a security audit doesn't scare
• Partner with Legal, People & Culture, and other functions to understand what they actually need before you build it
• Balance building new AI capability with keeping existing infrastructure solid - both matter, neither gets ignored

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You've led IT infrastructure or a similar function before - devices, access, the operational backbone of a company - and you know what "keeping it solid" means day to day, not just on paper
• You know AI technology well enough to guide a team building it - what's realistic, what's hype, what it takes to make it stick with non-technical users. You don't need to have shipped it in production yourself
• You've managed people before - a small team, with real accountability - but not a must-have if you're ready to grow into it
• You're comfortable around security and compliance work - you've supported an audit or certification process before
• AI-native - you use tools like Cursor and Claude Code/Cowork as part of how you work, and you have a real opinion on where AI should and shouldn't be trusted
  

TECH

Must have: IT administration, identity & access management, Azure, security fundamentals, AI/LLM tooling and deployment
Nice to have: Python or scripting, fintech or other regulated industry experience

3. Deep-dive - 60-90 min. A real scenario from our environment - infra, security, or AI rollout. No theatre, no trick questions.
