Job Purpose

The Site IT Infra Advisor will support the Enterprise IDT Infra & Compliance Manager who are end-to-end accountable for Business operations, innovation, business confidence, financials and resourcing activities and service operation landscapes.

Accountabilities:

  • Supporting the Infra Manager in preparing management information.
  • Ensures proper business communication for all types of system outages, maintenance activities, and related operational work
  • Responding to escalations/delegations and driving them to completion.
  • Supports the Infrastructure Manager in process improvements.
  • Supporting Infra Manager for SLAs and targets/KPIs monitoring.
  • Responsible for creating PRs/POs, monitoring invoices, and capitalizing IT assets.
  • Planning all necessary team activities for a wider group when required and presenting them to the ITLT team when needed.
  • Monitors communications received from global teams and follows up on the resulting actions within the team.

  • Typical Job Grade of Supervisor/Manager: JG5 or higher

Skills & Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in IT Service Operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Certification in IT
  • Analytical and questioning mindset
  • Practical hands-on ability to resolve the problems related to IT systems.
  • Good team player and able to efficiently work and communicate with 3rd party service providers
  • Able to deliver under time pressure and deliver on strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independent
  • Good Business English, written and oral
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Result oriented

Special Challenges:

  • The operational nature of the role will require out-of-hour working, sometimes unplanned and on call
  • Needs to be able to deal with state of the art, differentiated and often unproven technologies which require some learning on the job
  • Needs to be comfortable with sometimes vague and changing scope and priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to ensure one team mindset across the various teams to drive effective delivery
