  • Write project-related documents (topologies, test plans, methods of procedure) with required technical architecture diagrams

  • Provision and commission the System Under Test to reproduce the production environment on staging platforms

  • Define and execute test cases in accordance with testable requirements

  • Analyse and technically investigate problems involving all Fortinet products

  • Liaise with solution owners across R&D, Network, Systems, and DC Hosting departments to drive resolution of product issues

  • Document all validation results in test reports for delivery and presentation at the conclusion of each test campaign

  • Follow established Infrastructure QA processes for driving the completion of test campaigns

  • Develop core competency in Fortinet’s product line and technologies

  • Work closely with other departments within the organisation to ensure cohesive project delivery

Skills and Attributes Requirements:

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Strong understanding of data networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP, routing, and switching

•Very good presentation and technical documentation skills

•Good troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem solving

•Administrator-level working knowledge of Linux, Docker, VMware, and KVM

•Experience with security products including firewalls, IPsec, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, and antivirus solutions

•Good understanding of web application concepts, security principles, and common vulnerabilities

•Work experience with Fortinet products is a strong advantage

•Positive, communicative, and customer-oriented attitude

•Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment

•General knowledge of software testing methodologies is an advantage

•Scripting knowledge is an advantage

Educational and Experience Requirements:

•Four or more years of experience in network security, in a technical support or QA capacity

•Graduate of a network and security engineering programme or equivalent discipline

•Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
