Ensure the availability and functionality of telecommunications and IT infrastructure under security guidelines; to guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the systems and business processes, using the methods and procedures defined by the area. Carry out the evaluation and coordination of national and international suppliers, through the guidelines of the banking authorities and the consortium for the correct functioning of the IT infrastructure. Apply the use of good practices in the IT industry, taking care of the appropriate TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) to ensure the availability of technological solutions that meet the service levels required by the business areas, through the PMI, ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
• Ensure the operation and availability of the technological infrastructure, in accordance with the service levels agreed with the business and defined in the contracts with suppliers; as well as the policies and standards established by the authorities and the consortium, to achieve adequate, timely and uninterrupted attention to IT services to our end customers.
• Manage, together with IT Governance, the Service Catalog for infrastructure and communication services, establishing and structuring procedures that allow services to be offered in accordance with the agreed service levels, and show compliance with these in a transparent manner.
• Coordinate and manage infrastructure upgrade and innovation projects considering the consortium's guidelines in order to meet business and IT needs; and comply in a timely manner without exceeding the budget.
• Advise the business areas on technological innovations, in accordance with the trends of the IT market, ensuring compliance with the IT Security guidelines and standards established by the authorities and the consortium to obtain an innovative infrastructure within the margins of the different guidelines.
• Ensure the proper operation of the Data Center, in accordance with security and availability policies (TIER II). Coordinating preventive maintenance, in order to guarantee the continuity of network services, telephony, server hosting, pricing systems, etc. required by the business areas.
• Ensure the correct functioning of communication systems (links, mail, fixed IP/Cellular telephony, LAN (internet) and WAN (intranet)), according to security standards (DMZ, Firewall, etc.), complying with service levels, to offer reliable communication with customers, government entities and relevant services (Banks, BANXICO, Credit Bureau, VWAG, SAT, REPUVE etc.).
• Bachelor's degree or Systems Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Science/Industrial Engineering
• Relevant Master's degree or certification in IT frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO27001 desirable
• Language proficiency: English B2
• 4 years in information technology management.
• Project leadership (project management).
• Knowledge of communication networks (LAN and WAN).
• Advanced knowledge in IT infrastructure service management and relevant certifications of the different areas that compose it such as CCNA or CompTIA.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of standards and frameworks (ITIL and COBIT).
