**The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Architect or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certifications must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire or prior to the completion of the probationary period and must be maintained throughout employment in this position.
This position is based on-site at a City of Tucson facility. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available at this time.

ABOUT THIS JOB
Position Specific Summary
The Information Technology (IT) Solution Architect position at the City of Tucson’s Information Technology Department designs, builds, and maintains IT architectures, enterprise standards, and modular solution designs for city leadership and IT audiences to meet existing and future city goals.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology. This position does not supervise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience
A valid and unrestricted driver’s license with two (2) years of licensed driving is required.
*Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Information Technology Architecture.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Operations, or relevant applied analytical / sciences field.
Three (3) years of experience in IT Architecture and two (2) additional years working in IT.
