Organizational Context

The Information Technology Officer (P3) will support the testing and implementation of the MyDrive Application, a fleet mobility platform developed to support drivers, dispatchers, fleet administrators, passengers, and related stakeholders. The MyDrive solution is being developed as a cloud-native application that integrates with enterprise master-data systems such as the Fleet Management platform (FleetWave) and Oracle ERP and supports web and mobile experiences.

The incumbent will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, fleet subject matter experts, developers, architects, and implementation partners. The role is heavily focused on:

  • User Story creation and backlog refinement.
  • Acceptance criteria definition.
  • Test scenario and test case development.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Testing traceability and quality assurance.

The position requires substantial experience in fleet technology, vehicle management systems, telematics, fuel management solutions, mobile applications, and operational fleet processes. The role directly supports MyDrive capabilities related to trips, fuel management, vehicle inspections, maintenance, incidents, driver assignment, dispatching, and reporting.

Organizational Relationships

The incumbent reports to the MyDrive Product Owner and works closely with:

Purpose of the Position

Lead business testing activities for the MyDrive platform, ensuring business requirements are translated into high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and implementation-ready requirements that support global fleet operations, fuel management processes, operational oversight, and digital transformation objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. User Story Development
  • Produce clear and testable user stories using industry-standard Agile methodologies.
  • Define:

o User roles

o Business value

o Acceptance criteria

o Process flows

o Edge cases

o Non-functional requirements

  • Ensure stories are implementation-ready for development teams.
  • Manage story refinement sessions and stakeholder review workshops.

  • Driver trip recording.
  • Fuel event capture.
  • Bulk fuel stock management.
  • Vehicle inspections.
  • Driver-vehicle assignment using Bluetooth technology.
  • Incident reporting and claims processing.
  • Fuel efficiency monitoring.
  • Fleet utilization dashboards.
  • Dispatcher assignment workflows.

  • Develop Test Strategies and Test Plans.
  • Design comprehensive test scenarios covering:

o Functional testing

o Integration testing

o User acceptance testing

o Regression testing

o End-to-end testing

o Mobile application testing

  • Define expected outcomes and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and manage UAT scripts.
  • Coordinate testing activities across stakeholders and implementation partners.
  • Defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution validation.
  • Ensure requirements traceability from user story through deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Advanced university degree in one of the following:

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in:

  • Writing Epics, Features, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Creating UAT and Test Scenarios.
