Mission Description

We are recruiting an IT Manager to lead, develop and manage the Company's Information Technology function by ensuring reliable, secure and cost-effective ICT infrastructure, business systems, cybersecurity, data management, and user support that enables efficient business operations across all depots

Profile

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Governance
- Develop and implement the Company's IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Recommend new technologies that improve operational efficiency.
- Develop IT policies, procedures and standards.
- Ensure compliance with legal and cybersecurity requirements.

Infrastructure Management
- Oversee all servers, computers, networking equipment and communication systems.
- Ensure maximum uptime of all IT systems.
- Manage internet connectivity across all depots.
- Plan technology upgrades and replacement cycles.

Systems Administration
Manage business applications including:

- ERP Systems
- Fleet Management Systems
- GPS Tracking Systems
- Payroll System
- HR Systems
- Email Systems
- Microsoft 365
- Shared Drives
- Backup Systems

Cybersecurity
- Develop cybersecurity controls.
- Monitor network security.
- Manage antivirus and endpoint protection.
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments.

IT Support Management
- Ensure timely resolution of user issues.
- Develop service standards.
- Monitor helpdesk performance.
- Improve user satisfaction.

Vendor Management
- Manage IT vendors and service providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance.
- Negotiate software and hardware contracts.
- Manage IT licensing.

Budget Management
- Prepare annual IT budget.
- Control departmental expenditure.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Data Management
- Develop backup procedures.
- Ensure data integrity.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure business continuity.

Leadership
- Supervise IT staff.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Coach and develop team members.
- Coordinate IT projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Professional certifications such as:
- Microsoft
- Cisco
- CompTIA
- ITIL
- Cybersecurity certifications are an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years' IT experience.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in logistics, transport or fleet management environment is an advantage.
