Job Description

Rixos Hotels, with 25 years of experience in the tourism sector, continues to grow worldwide as a Turkish brand with new investments, driven by a management model based on dynamic, flexible, and proactive strategies. Currently, we operate 43 different hotels, theme parks, and special projects across 3 continents and 8 countries.

In Turkey, we provide services to our guests in various concepts with a talented workforce of approximately 8,000 people in the Antalya, Muğla, and Istanbul regions.

We are seeking a valuable team member for the position of " Information Technology Agent" to be considered at Rixos Tersane İstanbul.

  • Creates and manages user accounts, email accounts, and system access permissions,
  • Provides first-level technical support for hardware, software, printer, network, and system-related issues,
  • Installs, configures, and maintains computers, printers, IP phones, and other IT equipment,
  • Monitors IT systems and reports technical issues to the IT Supervisor/Manager when necessary,
  • Supports hotel applications, PMS systems, POS systems, and office software,
  • Assists employees with troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day IT-related problems,
  • Ensures all IT inventory and asset records are accurate and up to date,
  • Follows up on IT maintenance requests and coordinates with external vendors when required,
  • Supports network, internet, Wi-Fi, and communication systems within the hotel,
  • Ensures compliance with IT security policies, data protection procedures, and hotel standards,
  • Assists in maintaining backup systems and ensuring data security procedures are followed,
  • Provides technical support during meetings, events, and operational activities when needed,
  • Adapts to departmental changes in line with the operational needs of the hotel,
  • Is flexible in expanding job responsibilities as needed, including reassignment to alternative departments/areas, and performs other reasonable duties within the scope of capability.

Qualifications

  • Degree or vocational education in Information Technologies, Computer Programming, or a related field,
  • Previous experience in a similar IT position is preferred,
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking,
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills,
  • Team-oriented and customer-focused,
  • Good command of English is an asset.
