
Information Systems Security Manager - Federal Customer
(on-site 5days per week: TS/SCI Clearance required)
The Cybersecurity & IA Leadership professional supports Dell Mission Operations by establishing and sustaining the security, compliance, and governance framework required for mission delivery in a classified environment. This role is responsible for overseeing information assurance processes, security documentation, audit readiness, and coordination across technical and operational stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of compliance requirements, strong judgment, and the ability to balance mission execution with disciplined security oversight.
Key responsibilities
· Lead implementation of information assurance, compliance, and security governance processes
· Maintain security documentation, plans, controls, and required program records
· Coordinate and lead audits, inspections, assessments, and remediation activities
· Track POA&Ms, findings, exceptions, and corrective actions through to closure
· Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure compliance obligations are met
· Support continuous monitoring, risk management, and policy enforcement activities
· Provide status reporting, risk reviews, and recommendations to program and security leadership
· Promote security awareness and procedural compliance across the team
· Provide leadership for security/cyber professionals on the program.
Required qualifications
· Experience in cybersecurity compliance, information assurance, facility security, or program security roles
· Working knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and security control implementation
· Experience preparing or maintaining security documentation and compliance artifacts
· Strong communication, coordination, and issue-management skills
· Ability to operate effectively in a classified environment
· Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program
Preferred qualifications
· Experience with JSIG, ICD, DCSA, or similar government security frameworks
· Experience with eMASS, XACTA, or similar compliance tooling
· Experience supporting secure facilities, insider threat programs, or personnel security processes
· Security certification such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
· Experience on government or intelligence-community programs
Work environment / program context
This role is central to protecting the program’s security posture while enabling execution. This position provides IA leadership, system-level compliance support, and formal reporting and audit coordination.
