We are seeking a Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to provide the United States Navy's Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) expertise in cybersecurity as they look to establish an efficient, agile, and authorized network connecting multi-service range and laboratory locations. Phase I will be focused on connecting locations via the Defense Information System Network (DISN), with follow-on requirements planned for future levels of effort.

**This position will work 5 days per week on-site at Point Mugu in Ventura County, CA**

Responsibilities

  • Obtain an Authority to Operate (ATO) through the appropriate Navy Authorizing Official (AO).
  • Guide the ATO package through the RMF process.
  • Manage the ATO package in eMASS.
  • Manage the cybersecurity program for NAVAIR and advise the government on best cybersecurity practices.
  • Oversee compliance and auditing, ensuring adherence to applicable industry standards, government regulations, and internal policies.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risks, and implement controls to reduce exposure.
  • Up to 30% travel is possible within 200 miles of Pt. Magu, CA.

Education/Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be a U. S. Citizen with an active U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of RMF process experience.
  • 10+ years of experience building and maintaining ATO packages in eMASS.
  • One of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, (C)ISSO, GCIH, GCIA, GCSA, GICSP, GSEC, GSLC, ISSMP, FITSP-M ~OR~ DAU DCWF 722 ISSM & NEC 741A Information System Security Manager Training.
  • Experience with the Navy ATO process.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

For this role, the compensation range for candidates in California is $125K- $180K Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
