
Kaizen Approach is currently seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities, non-compliance with established Cybersecurity standards and regulations, and to recommend mitigation strategies. In this role, the ISSE will validate and verify system security requirements and analyses, establish system security designs, and design, develop, implement, or integrate Cybersecurity and security system components across networking, computing, and enclave environments with varying data protection and classification requirements. The position involves building Cybersecurity into systems deployed to operational environments and assisting architects and systems developers in implementing appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of Agency security policies and enterprise solutions. The ISSE will support the development of security architectures, enforce trusted relationships among external systems and architectures, and assess and mitigate system security risks throughout the system development life cycle. This role also includes contributing to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness activities, reviewing certification and accreditation documentation for completeness and compliance, and supporting security authorization activities in accordance with NSA/CSS, DoD, and NIST Risk Management Framework processes.
