POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Information Systems (IS) Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing multifaceted IS projects ensuring scope is delivered according to deadlines, budget, and quality standards. The IS Project Manager manages enterprise-wide strategic projects with complex scope and scale, and reports progress or matrix reports on a project directly to Senior Leadership. The IS PM will oversee all information technology project activities and provide project leadership across all phases, working in partnership with key business subject matter experts (SME).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management, Information Systems. Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certification is required. Eight years of project management experience leading technical projects, including development and execution. Eight years’ experience working all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle. Must have 5 years’ experience in Health Care, specifically dealing with Managed Care Organization (MCO) claims and clinical data. Proficiency with various system development lifecycles such as waterfall, RUP, and Agile methods. Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio). Experience with Jira (Atlassian) Products is a plus. Experience with Cognizant Product suite is a plus – QNXT, Clinical Care Advance, TCS, etc.
