We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Coordinator - Information Systems based at our Osborne Park TARR office, supporting our Southern Operations team.

Working within a high-performing and collaborative team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our operational information systems, mobile technology, and work management processes run efficiently and effectively.

No two days will be the same. You'll be the key link between field operations, scheduling teams, and IT systems, providing expertise, troubleshooting support, training, and solutions that help our teams deliver essential services safely, efficiently, and reliably.

What you’ll be doing

As our Coordinator - Information Systems, you'll provide support and expertise across a range of operational systems including SAP, Maximo, PDAs, mobile devices, and works management processes. You'll:

  • Act as the first point of contact for field and office-based users requiring system, mobile device, or PDA support by attending sites at least three days per week – Subiaco WWTP, Beenyup WWTP and Mirrabooka WTP. The rest of the week on site at Osbourne Park Office
  • Provision and manage field devices, user access, inventories, and associated equipment for employees and contractors.
  • Assist with the roll out of new field devices to all crew and be their first point of contact for all device queries.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, provide ad-hoc training, resolve work order errors, and data anomalies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required. Present process/system changes in toolboxes.
  • Support scheduling teams with work order management and resource utilisation monitoring.
  • Support Scheduling teams when internal resourcing challenges arise.
  • Analyse operational data and system performance to identify trends, efficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group training sessions for new and existing users.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Promote compliance with field data capture requirements.
  • Log, track, and coordinate IT support requests and improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, analytics, and IT teams, influencing positive outcomes through meetings, toolbox talks, and operational forums.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a motivated and proactive individual who enjoys working with people and technology in a fast-paced operational environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working in a high-volume operational or maintenance environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience using business systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, Grange, or similar operational systems.
  • The ability to self-learn, navigate and roll out new operating systems and platforms.
  • The ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
  • Experience supporting mobile technology and desktop users.
  • Previous field operations or scheduling experience will be highly regarded.

We’re the principal supplier of water, wastewater and drainage services in Western Australia to hundreds of thousands of homes, businesses and farms, as well as providing bulk water to farms for irrigation.

Our services, projects and activities span over 2.6 million square kilometres. We have regional offices in Perth, Bunbury, Albany, Karratha, Geraldton, Northam and Kalgoorlie which allow our employees to provide a high level of professional expertise to customers.

We have over 3,500 employees and manage an asset base of over $37 billion in water supply, wastewater, drainage infrastructure and bulk water for irrigation.
