Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs duties essential to the purchase of IT equipment. Provides oversight and management of all IT equipment purchases for the health system. Ensures all equipment and services to build and maintain a safe IT environment are purchased from approved vendors and suppliers. Performs duties to manage specified printer vendor contract/s. Manages the relationship between the vendor, client, and customers ensuring satisfaction to all parties. Manages the printer vendor's performance level ensuring that all service level agreements are fulfilled to satisfaction. Provides financial analysis to customers upon request. Performs all duties promptly and efficiently and complies with Health System and departmental polices. Maintains excellent customer service and working relations. Seeks and maintains maximum value for the company through time and cost agreements while working with vendor/s and technologically advanced products.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school graduation or its equivalent is required. Graduation from a two year technical or Business college is preferred. One year's experience in terminal, printer, and personal computer repair is required. Two years purchasing experience is required. One or more years in hospital purchasing experience is preferred.
