
SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Information System Security Officer
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
SEACORP is currently seeking a qualified Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join the IT
Security Team and ensure the security and integrity of our information systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate
operational security posture is maintained for a classified information system,
and enterprise network security. The ISSO serves as a critical component of the
organization's cybersecurity framework, working closely with ISSM, system
owners, and various stakeholders to protect classified and sensitive
information assets while ensuring compliance with federal regulations including
the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST standards, and FISMA requirements.
Job Responsibilities include:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer
science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related
technical field
Or IAT Level 2 or 3 cert, per the
DoD 8140 Directive with comparable work experience. Approved certifications include: CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA
Security, CySA+.
Experience Minimum 1-3 years of experience in information security, system
administration, or related cybersecurity roles.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
