
Focus Factory Security Representative
The Electric Boat Security Department has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to serve as an onsite Information Security Representative at the Austal Focus Factory location in Mobile, AL.
A Focus Factory is defined as a supplier that is organized around a very specific and narrow set of requirements, resources, and capabilities to produce specific products and utilized as an embedded EB contractor. This position presents a unique opportunity to be a contributing member of this team by providing security guidance and assistance to the various Electric Boat personnel located at the Austal Focus Factory. This is a high visibility position requiring engagement with all levels of management to report progress and manage activities.
Candidates will be required to be familiar with the industrial security requirements of the 32 CFR Part 117: National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule, N9210.3 Safeguarding of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, MDD-01431 Technology Infrastructure Access and Electric Boat Security Manual.
Responsibilities Include:
Represent the Electric Boat Security Department at the Austal Focus Factory.
The Security Representative will be the on-site security point of contact working directly with the Focus Factory Security Lead and the Electric Boat personnel located in Mobile, AL. The Security Representative will frequently interface with Operations, SUPSHIP, RPCO, NRRO, Program Office and Contractor/Vendor Staff.
The Security Representative will be expected to actively support responsibilities specific to providing security expertise, guidance and support including: verification of security controls, develop and implement process improvement initiatives, administer security education/awareness training and ensure compliance with current security policies and procedures.
