The Information Security Lead is a senior, business-facing cybersecurity leader responsible for ensuring that cyber risk is identified, translated, challenged, and managed effectively within the assigned IBG markets or business units. The role operates as a trusted advisor to Business and IT leadership, influencing decisions at the right time to avoid unmanaged risk acceptance. It is not a purely operational role but requires strong technical depth paired with business acumen and stakeholder influence.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary security contact for assigned IBG markets / BUs
Translate technical risk into business impact and decision-ready language
Provide early-stage security input in critical initiatives and transformations
Challenge solutions that deviate from security standards or blueprints
Perform and oversee risk assessments across systems, services, and vendors
Ensure effective risk tracking, remediation, and escalation
Drive risk-based prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives
Support regulatory compliance, audits, and control frameworks
Drive and follow up technical remediation actions (vulnerabilities, continuity, resilience)
Support local deployment of central security capabilities
Ensure alignment between security architecture, operations, and business needs
Build strong relationships with Business leadership, Local IT, and InfoSec
Act as security ambassador, promoting awareness and cultural adoption
Support major transformations and technical debt programs
Prevent uncontrolled risk accumulation
Balance business enablement vs. risk exposure
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
Certification in Information Security Strategy Management (CISM)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
CompTIA Security + Certification
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
TS-SCI Security Clearance Certification
Work Experience:
Experience working across enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and third-party vendors
Hands-on experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and security controls
Experience supporting or collaborating on network, endpoint, and cloud security initiatives
Exposure to vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation activities
Experience conducting cyber risk assessments in complex or regulated environments
Experience reviewing technical architectures and identifying security risks and gaps
Experience balancing security requirements with business, operational, and delivery needs
Experience working with data protection, privacy, and information security practices
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in fast-paced environments
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and enterprise security practices
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS
Understanding of third-party/vendor risk management processes
Knowledge of data classification, data protection, privacy, and PII handling
Understanding of encryption fundamentals and secure data handling practices
Ability to assess security risks pragmatically based on business impact
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence decisions and provide constructive challenge
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with a high level of autonomy.
Salary: 5,681.01- 8,115.79 eur gross/month
